How did TLE impact my life:

Although I first started dancing in 2011 when I was a Sec 3 student, I took classes on my own and had a lot of breaks during my dance journey due to other commitments. Apart from joining dance as my CCA in junior college, I only resumed formal dance training back in 2017 when I started hall dance in NUS. At that point of time I was pretty scared to take classes on my own after not doing so for years. It was soon after that I chanced upon the TLE programme, where it provided an environment for me to learn dance in a structured way.

The instructors are also very friendly and patient in teaching dance. Throughout the structured TLE programme, the instructors always tried their best to give you personal feedbacks on you could work on your craft as dancer.

TLE has also given me many opportunities to perform and to compete. I will always be grateful to the instructors who believed in me to do my best in those performances and competitions.

It is also through the people and instructors in this programme that I have learnt to keep a humble attitude towards dance. These people will always be role models for me to keep striving to working hard as a dancer.
