About Lester:
Lester started dancing at the age of 11, in Singapore Soka Association (SSA). He was under a group put together by people of a common passion. He joined a dance crew in Los Angeles Dance Connection (LADC) for a year before going back to SSA, being the first batch of Soka Youth Dance Crew. In 2011, Lester joined a dance club in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, NRA, and is now working in Legacy Dance Co (LDC) as an instructor.
Lester has performed and competed locally and internationally. He has worked with international and local choreographers and performed on live television for Mediacorp. Now, he spends most of his time teaching and helping out in LDC.
Urban Dance style is a go-to genre for Lester, but he also enjoys doing other styles such as Hip Hop, Popping, Locking and Jazz. He believes in sharing knowledge with others as how knowledge was generously shared to him by his mentors.
Lester believes in using dance as a tool to communicate and unite the community. He wants to help LDC bring higher purpose to one’s life and to create a legacy of their own.
