About Si Min:
Si Min started her dance journey back in 2012 when she joined New Revolving Age (NRA) in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She was also actively involved in Dance 4 Fun, an inter-school dance competition, throughout the 3 years. With the opportunity of being a Choreographer, it contributed towards her experience in the creative direction. With the hunger to learn, she continued pursuing her passion in dance after graduating in 2015, honing her dance skills through weekly Open Classes and dance recitals. Hoping to have proper guidance and progressive training, she enrolled in The Legacy Experience programme in 2016 as the first batch of students. After 2 years of formal training, she graduated as the first Alumni of the programmme in 2018. Despite her love for Choreography, she explores different genres such as Lyrical Jazz, Girl Style etc. to gain exposure and improve herself as a versatile dancer.
She's currently a faculty member of TLE programme, as well as occasionally for Open Class. Si Min hopes to continue inspiring others with what she has to share, and will continue to contribute in cultivating the right culture for the new generation of dancers.
Message for dancers:
Hardwork > Talent. Never be complacent and always be selfless in learning. Appreciate "you" in your dance, never undermine your own efforts and never, ever, compare your progress with others.
